The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a deadly weekend crash in Elbert County: one person was killed in single-vehicle wreck on Lake Forest Circle in Elberton. 53 year-old Tracey Routh died after being taken to Elbert Memorial Hospital. The driver of the car, a 33 year-old woman from Elbert County, was taken to Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center for treatment of what were described as non life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol says Shanteeka Browner could face charges in the aftermath of the accident.
