The University of Georgia remains an exception to a policy extended this week by the state Board of Regents. There is now an April 29 trial date in the case of Justin Johnson, the Atlanta man arrested and charged after a high-speed police pursuit on I-85 in Franklin County. The 26 year-old Johnson was chased and arrested in what turned out to be a stolen car. It happened in 2019. He’ll be tried in Franklin County Superior Court.
