Appeals Court upholds Elbert Co murder conviction, sentence

The Georgia Court of Appeals upholds the conviction and prison sentence in the case of Gregory Roberts, who is serving 40 years for the murder of Ashley Williams. Williams was killed in 2017 in Elbert County, her body found in a home in Bowman. Roberts was arrested in Anderson County South Carolina.

From Parks White’s Facebook page…

Gregory Robert Roberts convictions and 40 year prison sentence for the killing of Ashley Williams were AFFIRMED by the Court of Appeals today. This means the Defendant’s sentence is now FINAL, and he will enjoy the next four decades as a guest of the Georgia Department of Corrections!

His absence from Elbert County for 40 years is a blessing to everyone.

Roberts was a monster, an impediment to other guilty pleas while he was an inmate in the Elbert County Dention Center, and now he is a convicted woman killer. Hopefully for him, word about that doesn’t get out among the prison population.
