Another suspect arrested in murder of Bethlehem woman

A fourth suspect has been arrested in the April murder of a Barrow County woman: the GBI says 35 year-old Juan Rodriguez was taken into custody in Mexico, the latest person charged in the death of 37 year-old Rossana Delgado. The body of the Bethlehem woman was found in Gilmer County days after she was reported missing by her family. At least three other suspects remain at-large.

Charges for an Elbert County woman include aggravated assault and family violence: Charlene Glaze was arrested at a home in Elberton; one person was stabbed and wounded.

There was a holiday weekend drowning in Lake Hartwell: Armando Martinez was 22 years old, from Greer South Carolina.

Sentencing for Hector Garcia-Solis, Eric Velazquez, and London Clements is set for this week in Gainesville: they are facing life without the possibility of parole for their roles in the July 2019 shooting death of Hall County Sheriff’s Deputy Blaine Dixon. A fourth suspect in the Dixon murder--Brayan Cruz--will be tried separately.

There was a deadly holiday weekend motorcycle crash in hall County: Robert Jones was 55 years old, from Gainesville. He was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 136 in Hall County. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
