A father accused of raping his daughter is convicted in Clarke County Superior Court: guilty on all counts in the case of Michael Daniel, a trial prosecuted by Randy McGinley, the District Attorney in Walton and Newton counties.
It’s a case that was originally dismissed because of issues with an assistant district attorney in the office of Athens-Clarke County DA Deborah Gonzalez, then brought back for trial.
Michael Daniel gets a sentence of life in prison plus 52 years.
