The Athens Clarke County Police are investigating an apparent double shooting that resulted in the death of a 25-year old man.
From the ACCPD:
On April 17th, 2024, at approximately 11:00 PM, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Huntington Road. Responding officers found the victim, Nigel Zachariah Turner, 25, Athens, GA, deceased at this location from a gunshot wound. A second gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
