A retrial begins in Gwinnett County in the 2022 shooting death of a metro Atlanta high school football coach.
The three suspects allegedly committed the crime in broad daylight at a gas station in Peachtree Corners.
Bradley Coleman, 29, was putting air in his tires at a QuikTrip on Peachtree Parkway when he was killed during an apparent carjacking attempt.
The three suspects were tried in Oct. 2023, but Judge Tamela Adkins voiced concerns about a line of questioning from prosecutors.
“The state’s comments were so improper, and prejudicial, that I am going to have to grant a mistrial,” Adkins said.
Jury selection started this week.
