July 4th around Atlanta: 34 cities, spots to see fireworks this weekend

Here are some cities in and around metro Atlanta to catch fireworks this holiday weekend.

Acworth-July 4 at Cauble Park

Check out the live music at fireworks in Acworth. The music starts at 5:30pm with the fireworks to follow at 9:30pm.

Alpharetta-July 4 at Wills Park

Families are encouraged to bring a picnic. Fireworks start at dusk.

Athens- July 2 at Ben Epps Airport

Celebrate 246 years of American independence with a fireworks display at the Star Spangled Classic on Saturday, July 2!   The fireworks display will be launched at approximately 9:30 p.m. from Athens Ben Epps Airport. The display will be viewable from many locations around the Lexington Road, Cherokee Road, & Gaines School Road intersection as well as two locations provided by Athens-Clarke County.

Atlanta-July 3 at Centennial Olympic Park

Hosted by Georgia World Congress Center Authority, the all-new patriotic celebration, titled “Look Up Atlanta” will take place on Sunday, July 3rd to provide an additional day of fun and fireworks for Atlantans to enjoy with family and friends. This is a ticketed event with proceeds benefiting the Centennial Olympic Park beautification fund.

Avondale Estates-July 4 on the Town Green

Enjoy the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra at 8pm before the fireworks show.

Braselton-July 4 on the Town Green

The events start at 5pm with food trucks and activities. There will be a parade at 6, a free concert and fireworks will start between 9 and 9:30pm.

Chamblee-July 4 at Keswick Park

The bike parade gets the festivities going at 5pm. There’s a concert at 5:30pm followed by the fireworks at 9:30pm.

Conyers-July 3 in historic Olde Town Conyers

Bring the family for food trucks, kids activities, multiple stages of live music, a beer garden, and fireworks. Fireworks will begin at dark.

Covington-July 4 on the Square

The music starts at 6pm with the fireworks at 9:45pm. There will be yard games, food and more.

Cumming-July 4 at Cumming Fairgrounds

Steam engine parade starts at 10am. Head to fairgrounds that night for music, food, games, vendors and more. Fireworks start at 9:30pm.

Dahlonega-July 4 at drill field at the University of North Georgia

Head to Dahlonega early to enjoy a 5K run, parade, concerts, car show and more.

Decatur-July 4 at DeKalb County Parking Deck

A parade begins at 6pm through downtown Decatur followed by the Concert on the Square. Fireworks start around 9pm.

Dillard-July 4 at The Dillard House

The event at the popular resort and restaurant includes bbq chicken, fried chicken, ribs, corn, beans, desserts and more. There’s live music from Hunter Grayson & The Country River Band with fireworks at dusk.

Duluth-the city of Duluth will NOT have fireworks this year

They will host “Kickoff to the Fourth on July 1 with food trucks, music and more but there will NOT be fireworks.

East Point-the city of East Point will NOT have fireworks this year

They have partnered with a company to offer a virtual display on your phone.

Gainesville-July 2 at Laurel Park

The event runs from 10am-10pm and includes food, a splash pad, DJ and more. Fireworks start at dusk.

Johns Creek-July 3 at Newtown Park

Food trucks, beer and win for sale, bring your lawn chairs. Fireworks start at sunset.

Kennesaw-July 3 in downtown Kennesaw

The events kickoff with a kids parade at noon. There will be live music, food and more. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30pm.

Marietta-July 4 on Marietta Square

The event starts with a parade at 10am. There will be arts and crafts, food, concerts and a performance by a Journey tribute band. The fireworks start around 9:30pm.

Newnan-July 4 at Coweta County Fairgrounds

There will be food trucks and live music. Gates open at 5:30pm.

Norcross-July 3 Lillian Webb Park & downtown Norcross

There will be events for kids, music, vendors and fireworks. The fun starts at 5pm. The fireworks are slated to start at 9:40pm.

Peachtree City-July 4 at Lake Peachtree

The parade starts at 9am with fireworks at dusk.

Powder Springs-July 4 at Thurman Springs Park

The event includes music, food, a car show and more. Fireworks start at 9:30pm.

Rome-July 4 at Ridge Ferry Park

The music begins at 7pm with the fireworks to follow. There is a $5 parking fee.

Roswell-July 4 at Roswell Area Park

The night will include live music, entertainment, food trucks and fireworks.

Sandy Springs-July 4 at City Springs

Electric Avenue, an 80s tribute band takes the stage at 7:30pm before giving way to the fireworks at 9:30pm.

Snellville-July 4 on the Town Green

The event kicks off at 4pm and includes a DJ, live band, kid’s zone and food. Fireworks start at 9:30pm.

Stockbridge-July 4 at Stockbridge Amphitheater

There will be food trucks, live music and fireworks. The fun starts at 6:30pm.

Sugar Hill-July 3 at E.E. Robinson Park

The live music starts at 6:30pm with fireworks to follow.

Tucker-July 3 on Main Street

Enjoy live music, food trucks a kid’s zone and fireworks.

Woodstock-July 4 around town

There’s a Freedom Run at 7:15am, a parade at Woodstock Elementary at 10am, a festival from 11am-3pm at the Park at City Center and the fireworks start at duck behind Lowes Shopping Center on Hwya. 92 near 575.

Atlanta Braves-July 4

Gwinnett Stripers-July 4

Watch the Stripers battle the Charlotte Knights before enjoying a fireworks show.

Lake Lanier Islands-July 2-4

The north Georgia resort will launch fireworks Saturday, Sunday and Monday night starting at 10pm.

Ponce City Roof-July 2

There will be rooftop games, mini golf, food, drinks and more. The Roof becomes a 21+over event at 5pm.

Six Flags Over Georgia-July 2-4

Celebrate the Fourth with rides and fireworks at Six Flags. Fireworks start at 9:30pm.

Stone Mountain Park-July 1-5

The Stone Mountain attraction will offer the same fireworks show for five straight nights.
