We have today the names of the father and son who drowned in a private pond in Jackson County: Calvin Harris Senior was 55 years old, from Rex; Calvin Harris Junior was 32, from Stone Mountain. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources says they went into a pond off Braxton Road when their boat overturned; DNR divers recovered their bodies.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources said a father and his adult son are dead after their boat capsized.
It happened around 4 p.m. Sunday in a private pond along Brockton Road in Jackson County.
DNR officials said the men drowned in the pond and were recovered by a dive team.
