Plans call for multi-family housing at Mall site off Atlanta Highway

A developer will go before the Athens-Clarke County Planning Commission next month, looking for a rezone that would allow for a redevelopment of what is now the Georgia Square Mall: the property off Atlanta Highway could become a mixed-use multi-family residential community.
