Days after he jumped into Lake Lanier and did not resurface, the body of a missing swimmer has been found. Searchers pulled the body of Bentley Nwgbara’s from the lake Tuesday. The 28 year-old Nwgbara was from Stone Mountain.

Authorities in Hall County had been searching for the Stone Mountain man since about 4 p.m. Saturday, when a possible drowning was reported at Harbor Landing near Buford.
Divers from Hall County Fire Services spent several hours looking for Nwagbara after he jumped into the lake from a dock or a boat, officials said. The search effort was later turned over to the DNR and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
