After being on the run for three weeks, Henry Parker Whitley has been arrested in Gwinnett County.

Whitley, 31, had been identified as a suspect in a chop shop discovered on property on Tribble Gap Road. In addition to finding stolen heavy equipment, utility trailers and a U-Haul truck, Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators confiscated 1.5 lbs. of crystal methamphetamine, 17 grams of heroin and drug paraphernalia at the residence. They also seized $55,855 in U.S. currency, three rifles and a large amount of ammunition.

Whitley was arrested on June 28 in Gwinnett County by investigators in that county.

Authorities did not release details on the location or circumstances of the arrest. At some point, Whitley will be returned to Hall County to face charges here, but that timeline has not yet been determined. Whitley is also wanted on warrants in three other jurisdictions in North Georgia.
