Chubb's speed of 21.95 mph is the second-fastest a ball carrier has run, in general, this season. Chubb only trails Cordarrelle Patterson, who reached 22.23 mph on a 46-yard rush in week two.
Prior to this week, another former Georgia Bulldog, Mecole Hardman, was the fastest ball carrier to score a touchdown this season. Both Chubb and Hardman reached their fastest speeds on a touchdown this season against the Ravens. Hardman reached 21.74 mph on an 83-yard touchdown reception against the Ravens in week three.
