Ronald Acuña Jr. became the second player, in Braves postseason history, to record a “series” cycle after his leadoff triple in the top of the seventh. He joins Hank Gowdy, who achieved this feat in the 1914 World Series.
Acuña is bating .500 with three singles, three doubles, one triple and one home run in the NLDS.
In Game 4 of the NLDS, Acuña became the first player, since George Burns in Game 3 of the 1921 World Series, to have two singles, one double and a triple, in a playoff game.
Before Ronald Acuña Jr., the last NL player with 2 singles, a double, and a triple in a playoff game was George Burns in Game 3 of the 1921 World Series.
