Dansby Swanson became the third shortstop in MLB history to tie or give their team a lead in postseason history, when down to their team’s final out. Swanson joins Dave Concepcion in Game 2 of the 1975 World Series and Jimmy Rollins in Game 4 of the 2009 NLCS, as the only three shortstops in MLB history to ever achieve this feat.
With two outs and a runner on first and third, in the top of the ninth, Swanson drove an 88-mph slider off the left field wall, scoring in Billy Hamilton, tying the game up at one.

Moments later, Adam Duvall came up in the clutch, once again for the Braves, driving in Rafael Ortega and Swanson with a single to center field, extending the Braves lead to 3-1 in the top of the ninth.
